The St. John’s Police are currently chasing after two young men who were part of a group of four individuals that tried to set fire to a concrete house in Black Burne South, located in Vila, earlier this morning.

The group was apprehended while in the act and pursued by some men who were working in the area as part of a beautification team.

The men managed to capture two of the youths, one approximately 11 years old and the other around 15.

The St. John’s fire truck arrived promptly, but the workers had already extinguished the fire.

The police have also arrived at the scene and are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.

  2. Until the parents are held accountable, this will not be attested. Parents and or legal guardians ought to be charged along with the offending child. When the pressure comes to bear they will understand to hold their children accountable and undsr some parental control.
You brought the child into the world be responsible!!!!
    fedupwiththecrap.

    • Agreed and I’m very sure if investigated properly into person lives these lil kids also smoke a lot and have no home training muchless any respect for their parents

  3. Antigua us a small place. I guess the five perpetrators are known by all and sundry by now. By now I am sure most people who know, may have already figured out how ‘lost’ some of the accusers are, would know their parents, etc . Maybe as a plea deal they can cough up the names of those who have been repeatedly breaking into the primary school on Utility drive in Cassada Gardens.

  4. The Devil always find work for idle hands to do.We as a People need to give up on our love of sinning. Perhaps then things could or would get better among us all.

  5. Come out from that rock you have been living under y’all. We have non-performing parents, living in a non-performing economy, run by a non-performing govmnt looking for protection from a non-performing royal force..what hope is there because the very education system is not performing. Some parents just cannot handle it and there is no help.
    We need divine intervention 🙏
