No, I do not think a woman should ask a man. It is usually men who walk away from relationships. It would make it far easier for the man to walk away since he is not putting his emotions out there in a proposal.

Womenโs rights and the work place equality in todayโs society makes a woman bold enough to ask for marriage.
Back then men were the bread winners of the household, but it ainโt so anymore.
Women walked away from marriage as well.
