The Public Works Department says it has begun repairs on several roads across the country.
“The crews will continue to work at night under floodlights, commencing this Thursday night, January 18, 2018,” the government announced.
The Public Works has been paving roads in Bendals, Cashew Hill, Dunnings Dam Road, Mount Pleasant, St. Clair Heights, Potters; and, it has been filling potholes in many communities and along busy roadways.
According to the government, permission has also been granted for marl and other material to be released from quarries upon the application of the Parliamentary Representative for fixing roads which the Public Works may not be able to reach shortly.

road works really. ..patching the roads does not work it makes the road on even the roads needs rebuilding. ….y the government did not uterlize the 80 million that was offered for infrastructure work y was it not taken ….but i know the reason

LOL The politicians always play this game….Close to elections we shall hurry patch a road or two. We shall drive around and give a money here and there and that’s it we cant lose. Those idiots of this country will vote for us no matter what we do. The youths for sure will appreciate we making them smoke a lil weed in peace FOR NOW. When we done win it’s back to the regular scheduled programme of being MIA (Missing In Action) and keeping out hands in the cookie jar…Antiguans are stupid because they put up with anything hehehe..
Please dont forget the roads in Buckleys extension between Montrula and Aberdeen close to the country club. We also need help with the overgrown bush on both sides of the road making it difficult for two vehicles to pass each other in some areas.

Please give me a break. Three road machines resurfacing roads in Point. Roads that are in very good condition. Please give me the worst road in Point and I will be happy with it.
