The roads leading to Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s radio station, Pointe FM, were repaired before workers moved on to other parts of the community.

North Street was subject to road-resurfacing as a part of an overall road works project within the Villa and Point communities that began at the beginning of last week.

North Street was completely closed for much of the workday on Friday as workers from the Public Works department resurfaced the area.

Asphalt supervisor Evans Mathurin described that his team’s assignments are given to him on a daily basis.

For the week, the supervisor explained that he and his team have worked on the roads with Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s radio station, Point FM, and the Fisheries complex.

  2. Really? Didn’t the Prime Minister say in Parliament that the roads in his constituency will be fixed? This is news? Okay.

  3. I don’t agree with this but I didn’t hear any uproar when a UPP minister fix a road that was bad for years in his constituency to accommodate his mother’s funeral. The body was to be viewed at her home road in front of the house was bad and it was fixed just before the funeral. The surrounding roads were not touched
