Prime Minister Gaston Browne has responded to a threat of legal action by lawyers for Member of Parliament Wilmoth Daniel.

The deputy leader of the United Progressive Party is threatening to sue Browne for statements he made in the parliamentary chamber during its suspension more than a week ago.

But in an audio statement today, the prime minister says he’s standing behind the remarks in parliament and those he made over the weekend on Pointe FM, a radio station that he owns.

  1. Why wasn’t this criminal activity investigated? If a police report was made and hopefully, an investigation has now begun, why is Gaston Browne making reckless statements like this that could hamper the investigations. As a leader, let the police do their jobs without interference or distractions. That would be the prudent thing to do. What is the Pampalaylay?

  2. Why did Wilmoth respond? If no name was called why did Wilmoth respond?? If you cho stoarn inna pigpen, de wan dat squeal, ah it get hit wid de stoarn!!!

Focus on whipping Gaston at the polls. He so easily distracted.
